"Welcome to modern technology" was how my adult son responded when I called him excitedly to share the good news; I now had music on my iPhone!
It took me most of an hour to get the computer and iPhone to agree to communicate with one another but it was time well spent. I've now got some of my favorite music with me wherever I go.
And that, my dear friends, is step one; step one on my way to lose those pesky 50 pounds. Walking is dreadfully boring without a friend to chat with or music to listen to. I find that music alleviates some of the boredom when walking alone, which makes it less likely that I would find excuses to avoid going for a walk.
For step two, I took some time to cut up some delicious raw vegetables for work snacks. Tonight it was cucumbers and cauliflower. My intake of veggies is very small when compared with my fruit intake so it is my plan to add large amounts of vegetables to my diet.
There you have it; two easy steps to start me on my path to losing 50 pounds.
